At OEMTRONIC, we provide a limited warranty for our used engines, covering the engine block and cylinder head assembly only. Please note that accessories and external components are not covered under this warranty. These include, but are not limited to:
These parts must be replaced or transferred from your original engine prior to installation. Labor charges are not covered under any circumstances.
Our warranty solely covers the performance of the used engine—not its appearance. Cosmetic imperfections such as rust, scratches, or dents may be present and are not considered defects.
To validate your used engine warranty, the following steps must be completed before or during installation:
Heat tabs must remain intact. Tampering or removal of heat tabs will void the warranty.
You must retain proof of parts replacement and service, such as a valid invoice from a licensed repair shop. Handwritten receipts are not accepted.
OEMTRONIC offers a standard 90-day limited warranty on all used engines unless stated otherwise in writing.
Warranty will be void under the following conditions:
OEMTRONIC reserves the right to inspect returned parts and deny warranty claims if the above procedures were not followed.
OEMTRONIC’s used transmission warranty guarantees the transmission will shift properly and that all gears and bearings are in working condition. Labor costs are not covered.
Failure to perform and document these steps will void the warranty.
If a return or replacement is authorized by OEMTRONIC:
In the case of a total mechanical failure, the buyer may be eligible to replace only the failed components or the entire unit, depending on part availability. If a replacement is unavailable, OEMTRONIC reserves the right to reimburse the value of the defective component.
OEMTRONIC AUTO PARTS – TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting payment for any product, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all Terms and Conditions stated herein. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the customer and OEMTRONIC AUTO PARTS.
2. Nature of Used Automotive Parts
All engines, transmissions, and automotive components sold by OEMTRONIC AUTO PARTS are used or recycled parts unless explicitly stated otherwise. Due to the nature of used automotive components, normal wear, prior use, and minor imperfections may exist.
3. Limited Warranty
OEMTRONIC AUTO PARTS provides a limited warranty of 180 days from the date of delivery for in-stock engines and transmissions unless otherwise specified in writing.
This warranty is strictly limited to the following defects:
* cracked engine block
* rod knock
* excessive internal mechanical failure
OEMTRONIC AUTO PARTS reserves the sole and exclusive right to repair or replace the defective part before any refund is considered.
4. Exclusive Remedy
Customer agrees that the sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty is repair or replacement of the defective part. Refunds are issued only at the sole discretion of OEMTRONIC AUTO PARTS if repair or replacement is not reasonably possible.
5. No Liability for Labor or Additional Costs
OEMTRONIC AUTO PARTS shall not be responsible for any labor costs, diagnostic costs, installation fees, removal charges, mechanic fees, towing expenses, storage fees, or any other third-party expenses under any circumstances.
6. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall OEMTRONIC AUTO PARTS be liable for:
• loss of vehicle use
• loss of vehicle value
• storage fees
• towing charges
• rental vehicles
• business interruption
• consequential damages
• incidental damages
• punitive damages
The total liability of OEMTRONIC AUTO PARTS for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the part.
7. Inspection Requirement
Customers must inspect all parts within 7 days of delivery and report any damage, incorrect parts, or defects in writing. Failure to report issues within this inspection period may void warranty eligibility.
8. Professional Installation Requirement
All engines and transmissions must be installed by a licensed professional mechanic. Improper installation will void the warranty.
9. Required Replacement Components
Customer must replace all seals, gaskets, filters, and fluids prior to installation. Failure to follow these procedures may void warranty coverage.
10. Return Authorization
All returns must receive prior written authorization from OEMTRONIC AUTO PARTS. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If a customer initiates a bank dispute or chargeback, all warranty claims, replacements, returns, and refunds will be immediately suspended until the dispute is resolved.
12. Customer Cooperation Requirement
Customer must maintain reasonable communication and cooperation with OEMTRONIC AUTO PARTS in order to facilitate warranty claims, replacements, or returns.
13. Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are non-refundable. Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed in writing.
14. Restocking Fee
Canceled orders or non-defective returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 30% of the purchase price.
15. Governing Law
All transactions shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute arising from this transaction shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located within the State of California.
16. Agreement
By completing the purchase, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all Terms and Conditions stated above.
Only one replacement is covered under this warranty.
Shipping and freight costs are the buyer's responsibility.
Invoice Terms & Conditions (California Commercial Law)
By submitting payment, the customer agrees to all Terms & Conditions.
All sales are final. If an order is canceled after payment, a 30% restocking fee will be applied, in accordance with the California Commercial Code governing reasonable charges.
If the item has shipped and the customer cancels, refuses delivery, or redirects/obstructs shipment, the customer is responsible for the 30% restocking fee plus all shipping costs, including outbound and return freight. If shipment is delayed due to customer inaction—including failure to provide required vehicle/engine information or failure to confirm delivery details—the reserved part will accrue daily storage fees, which must be paid in full if the order is canceled or returned. Labor costs, diagnostic fees, and commercial misuse are not refundable or covered under any circumstances.
